Nycomed Jaguariúna is an important part of the Nycomed operations network, not only for South America, but world wide: The new global high technology pharmaceutical plant with investment of US$ 55 million located in Jaguariúna – SP, 20 km distant from Campinas, started up in 2002. It manufactures products in the solid, liquid and semisolid forms and is among the biggest and most modern plants in Latin America complying with global standards.
With our international, highly qualified and dedicated team of 350 employees we produced more than 50 different products with almost 110 presentations and 60 Mio finished packs in 2006.

• Mercosul GMP Certification by ANVISA in 2003, based on a Mutual
Recognition Agreement;

2003 and 2006;
• GMP Certification for the INVIMA – Colombian Health Authorities in August,
